Dear Stranger
5, 6, 7 September
The Canopy Lane Cove (Near Birdwood Lane)
Dear Stranger turns the simple act of letter writing into a powerful tool for connection. Created by artist Tilda Cobham-Hervey, this unique activation invites festival-goers to sit, pause, and write a heartfelt note to someone they've never met, sharing thoughts, stories, or words of encouragement.
In return, every participant receives a letter from another stranger, creating unexpected moments of reflection, kindness, and meaningful exchange.
At the heart of the experience are friendly Posties, who hand-deliver the letters and spark gentle conversation along the way.
Thoughtful, surprising, and quietly powerful,
Dear Strangeroffers a rare chance to slow down and connect with others through the written word.
Kiss The Queen at Carisbrook Historic House
Saturday 6 September
Visit Sydney's only Victorian House Museum for a Cosplay party. Step back in time and strut your stuff in style - corset up and carry on!
Lane Cove's Carisbrook House is hosting a Victorian Era cosplay party - think bonnets, corsets, tailcoats and top hats. Queen Victoria herself will be there - come and have a photoshoot in the house and manicured gardens.
It's Middlemarch, Jane Eyre, Great Expectations and Sherlock Holmes. Get into character and enjoy a champagne tea party in the courtyard and some big games in the garden.
HELIOS
25-28 September
Pottery Lane Performance Space
Wright & Grainger proudly presents its internationally acclaimed show
HELIOS - a modern re-telling of an ancient myth.
A story about the son of the god of the sun,
HELIOS transplants the Ancient Greek tale into a modern-day myth wound round the winding roads of rural England and into the everyday living of a towering city. It’s a story about life, the invisible monuments we build to it, and the little things that leave big marks.
Orpheus
25-28 September
Pottery Lane Theatre
Since its creation in 2016,
Orpheus has played over 500 shows in the UK and internationally - in festivals, cafes, gardens, railways arches, bars, tents, churches, yoga studios, boats, record shops, breweries, loft apartments and very occasionally, a theatre.
The multi-award winning production comes to Pottery Lane Performance Space for a limited season.

And What Will People Say?
17-21 September
Pottery Lane Performance Space
And What Will People Say? is an electrifying 60-minute immersive theatre experience that blends Indian dance, original music, and spoken word to explore the unspoken realities of domestic violence within families and communities.
Rooted in real experiences and shaped by the voices too often left out of the conversation, the production challenges cultural stigma and generational silence. It exposes the hidden stories that echo behind closed doors, those shaped not only by violence itself, but by the social pressures that keep people quiet. It is a story of pain but also of courage, hope, and radical truth-telling.
Through immersive staging, live performance, and a hauntingly beautiful original score, audiences are not just spectators, they are witnesses.
Whether you’ve lived this story, know someone who has, or are just beginning to understand the complexities of domestic violence,
And What Will People Say? offers a space for reflection, recognition, and connection.
This is more than theatre. This is a conversation our communities need to have. And it starts here.
